Description
The EU153-SMTLEAKPOCZ water leakage sensor kit provides a solution for detecting excessive moisture or water spills. It enables quick evaluation of humidity and temperature sensing capabilities with Renesas' Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® Low Energy devices and third-party visualization tools.
Features
- Battery backup keeps the system alive when mains power fails
- Solar energy harvesting allows for sensor use without main power
- Wi-Fi indication to the user or the shut-off valve, e.g., by MQTT
- Ultra-low power DC/DC and Wi-Fi allow for long operation/standby time
- Bluetooth 5.1
- 2402-2480MHz operating frequency
- +4dBm power level
- Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 1x1, 20MHz bandwidth, 2.4GHz channel
- Debug/programming connector with JTAG SWD Interface for DA16200 MCU
- 1 x 3.3 UART trace port connected to the DA166200 MCU
- Micro USB connector for wired charging of Li-ion battery (5V/400mA)
- 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery
- Solar cell or external DC power supply (1V-5V)
- 2x general-purpose buttons connected to DA166600MOD
- 5x LEDs

Smart water leak sensor detects leaks, triggers shut-off valves, and sends alerts via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
