Description
The EBC10320 is a 700V GaN‑SiP 24V/100W evaluation board designed to demonstrate the performance of the RRW22101 operating with a generic shunt regulator such as the TL431, as well as other third‑party secondary‑side controllers. This configuration supports a wide range of industrial and consumer power‑supply applications.
The RRW22101 is optimized to work with our synchronous rectification (SR) controllers, RRW43010/iW610, to significantly improve efficiency (up to 95%) and meet CoC V5 Tier 2 and DOE Level VII requirements.
Power supplies designed with the RRW22101 and a generic shunt regulator—or a third‑party secondary‑side controller—can achieve high‑accuracy constant‑voltage regulation (and constant‑current capability when using a third‑party controller), fast dynamic load response, and low system cost. Typical designs using RRW2210x and TL431 can also meet no‑load power consumption below 75mW.
