Low-Cost Real-Time Industrial Ethernet Switch

Overview

Industrial customers often require real-time Ethernet solutions, commonly referred to as industrial Ethernet. Common standards include EtherCAT®, Powerlink, Sercos III, PROFINET®, Modbus TCP, and others. Renesas offers a complete industrial Ethernet switch design powered by a single 24VDC supply, ideal for mid-range applications such as factory automation or robotics, with support for up to five Ethernet ports.

  • PROFINET, Ethernet/IP™, EtherCAT
  • Integrated QSPI flash
  • Only 1x 24VDC (9V to 48V) supply required
  • All other rails are generated internally
