Overview

The ISL6443AEVAL2Z evaluation board highlights the operation of the ISL6443A 300kHz, dual, 180° out-of-phase, step-down pulse width modulating (PWM) and single linear controller in an embedded DC/DC converter application. The ISL6443A is a high performance triple-output controller offering control and protection features for two synchronous buck PWMs and one linear regulator.

  • Wide input supply voltage range: Variable 5.6V to 24V, fixed 4.5V to 5.6V
  • Three independently programmable output voltages

  • No external current sense resistor - Uses lower MOSFET's rDS(ON)
  • Bidirectional frequency synchronization for synchronizing multiple ISL6443A ICs
