Overview

Description

The 9ZXL1930 is a low-power version of the 9ZX21901 19-output DB1900Z-compliant buffer. It has 19 low-power HCSL-compatible outputs and meets all the performance requirements of the Intel DB1900Z specification while reducing power consumption by more than 50% from the original 9ZX21901. It is suitable for PCI Express Gen 1/2/3 or QPI/UPI applications and uses fixed external feedback to maintain low drift for demanding QPI/UPI applications.

Features

  • 19 - 0.7V Low-power HCSL-compatible differential output pairs
  • Only series resistors are required for output termination
  • Phase jitter: PCIe Gen 3 < 1ps rms
  • Phase jitter: PCIe Gen 2 < 3.1ps rms
  • Phase jitter: PCIe Gen 1 < 86ps peak-to-peak
  • Phase jitter: QPI/UPI 9.6GT/s < 0.2ps RMS phase jitter: SAS < 1.3ps RMS supports zero delay buffer mode and fanout mode
  • Bandwidth programming available
  • 9 selectable SMBus addresses
  • 90MHz to 147MHz operation in PLL mode
  • 33MHz to 150MHz operation in Bypass mode
