Overview

Description

The RRH62000 is an Integrated Sensor Module measuring critical air quality parameters such as particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), Indoor Air Quality Index (IAQ), estimated carbon dioxide concentration (eCO2), temperature (T), and relative humidity (RH) are combined in a single package. The RRH62000 provides digital outputs for each sensor, which can be measured simultaneously. A six-pin connector provides an easy plug and play interface.

Features

  • Simultaneous multi-sensor measurements of all relevant air quality parameters
  • Sensor outputs feature:
    • Detection of particle sizes from 0.3µm to 10.0µm
    • Output mass concentration bins for PM1, PM2.5, and PM10
    • Temperature (T) and Relative Humidity (RH)
    • Measurement of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) concentrations and indoor air quality (IAQ) index according to UBA
    • Estimates carbon dioxide level (eCO2)
  • Operating temperature ranges from -10°C to 60°C
  • Operating humidity ranges up to 90% RH
  • Siloxane resistant
  • I2C and UART interfaces
  • Outline dimensions: 46.6mm × 34.8mm × 12mm
  • Qualified according to JEITA ED-4701

  1. RRH62000 status byte

Good morning, I am using the RRH62000 PM sensor and have noticed that, after some time, the sensor status byte changes from 0x0000 to 0x0004. According to the datasheet, this indicates that the "Fan speed is out of the set range." However, other data appear to be read correctly. Could ...

  2. RRH62000 working principle

Hi, I want to ask if there is an official documentation about the specific working principle of RRH62000. For example, it would be interesting to know if the measurements of PM higher then 2.5 (i.e. PM10) are estimated from the number of PM2.5 counted (like other laser ...

  3. RRH62000 sample code files

I download QCIOT-RRH62000POCZ Evaluation Board Manual from RRH62000-EVK - All-in-One Integrated Sensor Module for PM2.5, RHT, TVOC, and eCO2 Detection Evaluation Kit | Renesas.Sample code files are available on the RRH62000 product page, but I could not find them. .

FAQs

  1. RRH62000 - Daughterboard cannot be found

Make sure the interface selection jumper on the daughterboard is removed (set to I2C). The environmental sensor communication board uses I2C communication.

  2. RRH62000 - Power Cycle / Reset

All settings, such as the moving average, are reset to their default values and should be adjusted if necessary. Upon restart, the gas sensor begins a stabilization process, so the initial TVOC readings will be less accurate until warm-up is complete.

  3. RRH62000 - Mounting Direction

The outlet of the sensor module, where the fan is visible, should always be positioned below the inlet to prevent particles from circulating between them. See the design-in guide for more details.
