Overview
Description
This is the single port reference design that converts USB Type-C® input power to DC output or DC input to USB Type-C® output sourcing power.
The USB Type-C® port is dual role power (DRP) and supports both sink and source modes.
By using a dedicated FW, this board can also function as a USB PD Exerciser (sends or responds to USB PD commands like a real device) that can be used to investigate or analyze USB PD communications.
The following tool is provided for firmware customization:
- Firmware generation support tool (PDC image generator, PDC-IMGGEN): GUI tool that can change parameters of USB PD protocols

- Supports Programmable Power Supply (PPS) function - Up to 5VProg supported (3.3V to 5.9V VBUS power supply, additional voltage options are under evaluation)
