Renesas RA6M5グループはTrustZone®に対応した高性能Arm® Cortex®-M33コアを採用しています。 内蔵するセキュア暗号エンジンと併せてセキュアエレメント機能を可能にします。 また、専用DMACを備えたイーサネット MAC を備えており、高いデータスループットを実現します。 RA6M5は高効率40nmプロセスで製造されており、フラッシュメモリからCoreMark®を実行する際の消費電力を107µA/MHzと極めて低い水準に抑えることに成功しています。開発環境としては、ルネサス製Flexible Software Package(FSP)が用意されていて、オープンかつフレキシブルな開発が可能です。もちろんパートナエコシステムが提供する様々なRTOSやミドルウェアも使用できます。 RA6M5はイーサーネット接続や、今後重要と言われているセキュリティ機能、大容量の内蔵RAM、そして消費電力を低く抑えることが必要とされるIoTアプリケーションに最適です。
