The iW9880 is a next-generation digital zero-voltage switching (ZVS) flyback controller designed for high-efficiency AC/DC power conversion. Featuring high-frequency ZVS operation and peak power capability, it delivers high power density, precise voltage and current regulation, and low electromagnetic interference (EMI). The device supports USB Power Delivery (USB PD) and fixed-output power supply applications up to 200W.
Optimized for use with TL431 and other third-party secondary-side regulation (SSR) devices, the iW9880 enables accurate multi-level constant voltage (CV) regulation and stable fixed-output operation. Its advanced digital control architecture helps improve efficiency across a wide operating range while supporting fast transient response.
The iW9880 can also be paired with third-party USB PD protocol controllers to support USB PD 3.2 applications, delivering highly accurate voltage and current regulation, fast dynamic load response, and efficient power conversion for chargers, adapters, and other high-performance power supply designs.
