Overview
Description
The RH850/F1K is one group of single-chip microcontrollers in the RH850/F1x series which is designed for automotive electrical body applications. While it achieves low power consumption, the internal flash memory ranges from 768KB to 2MB and the package covers a wide range from 100 to 176 pins. Also, a CAN FD interface has been added and the CPU operating frequency operates at up to 120MHz. Design resources are available here to help you get your design to market as quickly as possible.
Features
- 32-bit single-chip microcontroller with G3KH CPU core
- High computational processing power
- 120MHz operating frequency
- Internal flash memory from 768KB to 2MB
- Wide variety of internal peripheral functions
- CAN FD interface (premium products only)
- Low power consumption
- Low Power Sampler (LPS) polls signal inputs without CPU core interaction
- DeepSTOP mode disables power to select circuits within the chip
- Package options from 100 to 176 pins

RH850 /F1K S4 software reset not generated.
Hi I am writng to SWRESA register following the steps specified for write protected register i.e. PROTCMD0 = 0x00000045; SWRESA = 0x1; SWRESA = ~0x01; SWRESA = 0x1; check PROTS0.PROTSnERR != 1; Still the MCU does not generate reset. Thanks SR

RH850/F1K Crypto library RSA Algorithm
The devices feature the ICU-S which is only doing symmetric AES operations. For RSA there is no hardware support. Renesas do not offer a SW library. But there are some 3rd parties (Vektor, Elektrobit) which offer such a library.

Take a glimpse of the Automotive Tech Days 2019. A great chance for customers to interact with Renesas product experts and discover available Digital and Analog solutions.
Transcript
Elmar Winter: We have done 14 TechDays for automotive customers. Eleven at our customer premises and three at our offices in Europe.
Carsten Jauch: Today, our teams have prepared lot of live demos, so I would really ask you to go in the deep, technical discussions with our experts to drive your innovation.
Elmar Winter: Renesas is in a transition from a pure semiconductor supplier to a more and more system solution provider. Today we are able to provide wide digital and analog solutions for all our customers.
For brushless DC motors, we control and drive with our MCU solutions the electronic commutation of BLDC motors.
With our inductive sensing solutions, we are able at the same time to sense precisely the position of the rotor and replace resolver solutions.
With our R-Car SoC solutions, our customers serve more and more solutions in the field of infotainment and ADAS.
In parallel, they use timing and PMIC solutions from Renesas and save development time.
A TechDay is a very efficient way to bring the right experts together. It's like a small congress at your location. If you are interested in such a TechDay in your premises, please get in touch with our sales team.
