Description
These MCUs are ideal for low-cost networking applications. They integrate the IT800 power line modem developed by YITRAN, which provides communication over power lines using the 120 kHz to 400 kHz (FCC, ARIB) or 20 kHz to 80 kHz (CENELEC A) or 95 kHz to 125 kHz (CENELEC B) frequency band and achieves data transfer rates of up to 7.5 kbps. The MCUs can run a software library for the Data Link Layer (layer 2 of the OSI model) for “Protocol agnostic” solution. Maximum operating frequency is 15.36 MHz when using a PLL Synthesizer. A 64-pin package is available.

- Application NoteAI-generated Summary: Call Walker is a stack information analysis tool included in the Renesas Compiler Package for various microcontroller families. It reads stack information files (*.sni) generated by the linkage editor or profile information files (*.pro) from the simulator debugger. Users can edit stack sizes, save modified data in call information files (*.cal), and merge multiple files. Procedures to create stack information files differ by microcontroller family, with specific instructions for SuperH, H8, RX, M16C, and R8C families. The tool supports static stack size display and editing for assembly programs.
- Application NotePDF 59 KB REU05B0093-0100 Rev.1.00 Feb 24, 2009AI-generated Summary: Direct Memory Access Controller (DMAC) enables generation of 1 to 8 PWM output channels using a simple timer, increasing PWM channels beyond timer limitations. DMAC transfers data from source to destination triggered by timer underflow, allowing variable duty cycles by changing source data. The timer period defines PWM resolution, and DMAC operates in repeat mode for continuous PWM signals. This method frees timers for other functions while maintaining precise PWM control.Related Files:View More (59)

Do I need to rewrite the boot ROM area using MI6C Flash Starter?
Rewriting of the boot ROM area is unnecessary. This is because M3A-0806 performs programming using the standard boot program which was programmed into the boot ROM area when it was shipped. (#104963)
