Description

The automotive grade ISL78610 12-cell battery pack monitor can be used as a stand-alone battery monitor or as a redundant back-up device in an ASIL compliant system. It supervises up to 12 series connected cells and features cell voltage and temperature monitoring along with system diagnostics. The ISL78610 communicates to a host microcontroller with an SPI interface and to other ISL78610 devices using a robust, proprietary, two-wire daisy chain system. The ISL78610 is offered in a 64 Ld TQFP package and is specified for operation at a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
