Description

The ISL71090SEH25 is a radiation hardened, ultra-low noise, high DC accuracy precision voltage reference with a wide input voltage range from 4V to 30V. The ISL71090SEH25 uses Renesas' advanced bipolar technology to achieve 2µVP-P noise at 0.1Hz with an accuracy over temperature of 0.15%. The ISL71090SEH25 offers a 2.5V output voltage with 10ppm/°C temperature coefficient and also provides excellent line and load regulation. The device is offered in an 8 Ld flatpack package. The ISL71090SEH25 is ideal for high-end instrumentation, data acquisition, and applications requiring high DC precision where low noise performance is critical.

    The part is factory trimmed and the trim pin can be left unconnected for most applications. The part adjust factory-calibrated output value can be adjusted using the trim pin as discussed in the data sheet in the section titled  “Output Voltage Adjustment”.

  2. Is it possible to use the ISL71090SEH without a compensation capacitor?

    It is possible to use these voltage references without a compensation capacitor if the output capacitance is under 100pF for ISL71090SEH12. For ISL71090SEH25, ISL71090SEH50 and ISL71090SEH75 the output capacitance must be either under 100pF or between 50nF to 100nF.
