Description
The DA14535MOD is a lowest-power consumption, low-cost, fully self-contained Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) v5.3 Module that is worldwide certified and ideal for a range of applications, including fast-upgrade projects to wirelessly connect your product to a smartphone for quick and simple commissioning, control, alerts, and data collection usage. The DA14535MOD is a pin-equivalent and functional-equivalent alternative to the market-adopted DA14531MOD, with both modules utilizing Cortex-M0+, clocking at 16MHz and on-die RAM, ROM, and OTP with integrated 1Mbit Flash, 32MHz crystal, power inductor, RF matching, and printed antenna. The DA14535MOD differs from the DA14531MOD with the following key features:
- Transmit Pout up to +3dBm
- 64KB RAM, 160KB ROM, 12KB OTP
- Compliance with Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3
- 2-wire UART support for Host-MCU-based operation*
*This feature is supported by the inclusion of a secondary boot loader in Flash during factory programming. For applications where a host MCU SoC is also present, this feature permits use of the host MCU’s memory to store and download DA14535MOD code for a Bluetooth LE data pump. This feature can also remove the need for DA14535MOD factory programming during end-product production test.
