Current sense amplifiers enable accurate monitoring of current flow within power rails—supporting protection, control, and optimization across a wide range of systems. Analog current sense amplifiers (also called current shunt amplifiers) measure current by amplifying the small voltage developed across a sense resistor, delivering an output proportional to load current. Digital power monitors combine current and voltage sensing with an integrated analog‑to‑digital converter to deliver digital feedback directly to the host system.
