Overview

Description

The ZSSC3218 evaluation kit provides the hardware required for the configuration, calibration, and evaluation of the ZSSC3218 sensor signal conditioner (SSC) IC. A user's PC can communicate with the ZSSC3218 sample IC (PQFN24 package, available only with the kit) mounted on the ZSSC32xx evaluation board through the ZSSC3xxx communication board via a USB connection. The evaluation kit software is available online as a free download. The evaluation board can connect to the user's sensor or to the ZSSC3xxx sensor replacement board (SRB), which provides a replacement for an actual sensor and can be used for the first step of calibration or a dry-run calibration. On the SRB, the emulated resistive sensor signal is adjusted using a potentiometer.

The boards can also be ordered separately. To facilitate product comparisons, this kit is compatible with selected Renesas devices. Contact your local sales representative for more information.
