Overview
Description
The CAN XL Extension Board can be used with the mainboard Y-COMMON-MB-T1-V1 of the common RH850 / R-Car MCU Evaluation Platform. A CAN XL transceiver in compatible 8-pin package must be mounted by the user. Please take care that the MCU series piggyback board supports CAN XL.

The common mainboard is an expansion board for RH850 and R‑Car U5x MCU piggyback boards, adding multiple communication interfaces and enabling system evaluation and prototyping. It integrates transceivers for standard interfaces (CAN, LIN, SENT, FlexRay), as well as Pmod™ ports for extension boards, and connectors for high-speed communication and display modules. The manual provides detailed information on board features, setup, interfaces, power supply, and supported configurations.
