Description
The ISL73846MEV2Z is an evaluation platform designed to demonstrate the performance of the ISL73846M radiation tolerant PWM controller in a single-switch forward converter topology. The design features a demagnetizing winding for transformer reset and an auxiliary winding to generate the VDD control supply rail.
Operating from a 28V input, the converter delivers a regulated 5V output and supports up to 10A of continuous load current, making it suitable for high-reliability DC/DC power conversion. The ISL73846M supports both voltage mode and current mode control and is optimized for use in high-frequency switching power supplies for space and other mission-critical applications.
