Smart Fish Tank

Overview

Description

The smart fish tank automates water replacement using Renesas' MCU for motor control. This complete system can be monitored and controlled via a Wi-Fi-based mobile application. Additionally, it incorporates RGB LED string control enabled by CapSense®-based touch technology.

System Benefits:

  • Operates two water pump motors and one air pump motor using a single MCU.
  • Utilizes HVPAK to control two motors on a single I2C channel, effectively reducing CPU load.
  • Integrates an ultra-low power Wi-Fi module, upgrading the system to a "smart" configuration.
  • Achieves system implementation with a compact MCU featuring a capacitive touch sensing unit (CTSU).
