High Power Efficiency

RXv2 core with maximum operating frequency of 120MHz, realize high power efficiency of 34 CoreMark/mA, which enables maximizing battery life for endpoint devices etc. as well as high performance.

 

Extensive communication functions and encryption functions realize secure updating of device control

Large capacity 256 KB RAM realizes high-speed communication processing required for various communication I/Fs such as Ethernet, USB, CAN, SD host/slave interface, quad SPI etc. In addition, implemented AES and TRNG are for data encryption of device updating program via network as well as on-chip flash memory with protective function

to prevent programming by error, which enable secure program updating via network.

 

Reduce development time

RX65N, RX651 group are highly compatible among the same series both in functional scalability and pin assignments.

In addition, driver/middleware (FIT support) and sample code-generation tools (code generators) and evaluation boards (starter kits) to allow reuse of most of developed hardware/software resources, enabling seamless and scalable product development from small to large scale applications without effort in a short-time.

Hardware Design Support

Title Description
IBIS/BSDL

IBIS standard simulation data is required for high-speed board design and can be used to run simulations to examine and troubleshoot issues such as waveform reflection, ringing, and so on, before producing the actual board.

BSDL is a data input format supported by most IEEE 1149.1 (JTAG)-compliant tools. The automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) and automatic test equipment functions of these tools facilitate testing.
