  1. Calling gx_api functions from sdram (DK s7g2)

Hello, we are programming in C++. While our development we have the issue to put some Objects in the sdram, because the internal RAM isn't big enough. We created Window Objects and this objects we want to put to the external sdram (With "BSP_PLACE_IN_SECTION(".sdram");". The ...

  1. Does the power supply dip on the DK-S7G2 when the GainSpan SDIO wireless board is plugged in?

Question: I'm seeing my power supply drop when I plug in the Gainspan SDIO wireless board on my DK-S7G2 kit. Is this expected behavior?   Answer: The board design on the DK-S7G2 is such that a power supply drop of about 600mV for 20ms is typical when the ...

  2. Are there limitation in using Ethernet and the camera on the DK-S7G2 kit?

Yes, there are limitations. Specifically, the Ethernet 1 port shares pins with the camera, so they can't be both used at the same time. The Ethernet 0 port can be used with the camera however.

  3. Using SCI-7 Pins as IO on DK-S7G2 Board prior to SSP 1.7.8

Last Updated:09/16/2020   The BSP for the S7G2-DK board configures pins PA02 and PA03 as SCI pins for simple I2C to read from an EEPROM to determine the board version. This occurs after the .pincfg settings have been applied. After this action has occurred the ...
