R-IN32M3 Module

It’s easy to get up and running industrial Ethernet with the R-IN32M3 Module

Step 1: Get Evaluation Boards

Choose from the following evaluation boards depending on the Host MCU connected to the R-IN32M3 module.

R-IN32M3 Module Adapter Board (YCONNECT-IT-I-RJ4501)

Connect it to various MCU Evaluation boards via Arduino™ Connector.
Sample software for SK-S7G2, EK-RA6M4, EK-RA6M3, and RL78/G14 is available.

RX66T CPU Card with R-IN32M3 Module (SEMB1320)

This solution kit mounts an R-IN32M3 module on a CPU card capable of motor control with the RX MCU(*). Industrial network communications can be evaluated with only this board. This can be connected to the inverter board of the 24V Motor Control Evaluation System.

(*) An emulators such as E2 Emulator Lite [RTE0T0002LKCE00000R] is required separately to execute the program.

Step 2: Download Software

The R-IN32M3 Module Sample Package contains a complete evaluation environment, including sample software for host MCU, Management Tool, and documentation for each evaluation board to use the R-IN32M3 Module.

Firstly, download the package and try it.

Step 3: Set-up the Development Environment

Depending on the evaluation board and sample software used, install the required development environment, such as e2 studio or FSP.

The sample software has projects for each industrial Ethernet protocol and application. Import the selected project into e2 studio and run it. Please refer to the documentation included with the Sample Package for instructions on how to run the selected project.

Step 4: Network Connection

Try industrial Ethernet communications with the Management Tool included in the Sample Package or software PLC as the network master.
