This tool enables easy and robust field updates to application software running on a device or solution based on the Synergy Platform.

The Software Flashloader consists of:

  • A downloader that is a collection of functions to handle communication with an external host, device, or network to download and validate a new application
  • A bootloader that is a complete, self-contained image that runs on the MCU and performs the application update after it has downloaded
  • A PC software application that facilitates the firmware update process

The application project illustrates the flexibility of the Flashloader and shows how an example solution can be easily integrated. It guides developers on how to review, configure and customize the major software components, and update the example to fit nearly any requirement.

What's New?

This version of Flashloader Add-on and Application Project is intended for SSP v1.3.x only and is currently unsupported on other versions of SSP.

There is no change in the project from the prior version (1.1.1), only the application note document has been updated to clarify that this application project has been released for SSP v1.3.0 only.
