The RTKRB86848DE0000BU evaluation board is used to evaluate the performance of the RRB86848. The default output voltage, output current limit, and adapter current limit can be configured using a resistor connected from the PROG pin to GND. These values can also be set via System Management Bus (SMBus) commands.
The RRB86848 is a bidirectional buck-boost voltage regulator that supports up to 55V input and 55V output. It offers voltage regulation and protection features for power tools, portable vacuums, lawn mowers, and system bus regulation in notebooks. The regulator is compatible with any USB-C® interface platform, including USB Power Delivery (PD) Extended Power Range (EPR). Renesas' advanced R3™ technology enables high efficiency during light-load operation and delivers fast transient response.
