Overview
Renesas T1, J1, and E1 interface products includes analog front-end (AFE) devices, line interface units (LIUs), framers, and integrated LIU-framer transceivers. AFEs provide the analog portion of LIUs and are ideal for designs where clock and data recovery (CDR) is handled by a separate digital device, such as an FPGA.
Our LIUs support port densities from 1 to 28 and operate at 2.048Mbps and 1.544Mbps rates for E1, T1, and J1 standards. These solutions are widely used in wired and wireless applications, including microwave transport systems, wireless base stations, and media gateways that bridge digital media streams across diverse networks.
