SRAM stores each bit using bistable latching circuitry, data stability while the device is powered. Unlike DRAM, SRAM requires no periodic refreshing, making it highly efficient. Although typically volatile, SRAM exhibits significant data remanence during operation. SRAM delivers faster performance by using a clock signal to synchronize control signals, optimizing operation alongside the CPU. Both asynchronous and synchronous SRAM products from Renesas are designed to deliver high-speed, dependable memory for various applications.
