  1. How do power-on reset with watchdog timer and with RES # pin differ?

    None of FRQCR (frequency control register), WTCNT (watchdog timer counter) and WTCSR (watchdog timer control/status register) are initialized in power-on reset with the watchdog timer. Please refer to "Register States in Each Operating Mode", the hardware manual of each product.

  2. In SH-2/SH-2A, how should I do with the TRST pin at normal operation?

    TRST must be low for the given period (Oscillation settling timing) when the power is turned on regardless of using the HUDI function. If the emulator is not used, the pull-down (resistance:1kΩ or less) is recommended.
