Overview
Description
The DA16600 modules provide a convenient way to add both low power Wi-Fi and low power Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) functionality to your device. The low power Wi-Fi DA16200 system-on-chip (SoC) and the low power Bluetooth LE DA14531 SoC are integrated together on a single module. Together, they deliver long battery life and low power consumption in a convenient form factor. As a single integrated system, functions such as Wi-Fi/Bluetooth LE coexistence and provisioning Wi-Fi through the Bluetooth LE connection come standard.
The modules are complete with all required components and are regulatory certified by the FCC, IC, CE, and other regulatory bodies.
The fully integrated module consists of:
- Wi-Fi SoC: DA16200
- Bluetooth LE SoC: DA14531
- 4MB Flash memory
- 40MHz crystal for Wi-Fi
- 32kHz RTC Crystal for Wi-Fi
- 32MHz Crystal for Bluetooth LE
- Chip antenna or u.FL connector
- SPDT antenna switch
- Single power supply voltage (3.3V)

Mobile App for DA16600MOD
We have developed a WiFi + BLE product using DA16600MOD. To test it we used a mobile app named "WiFiProvisioning". We could connect our product with a mobile phone by BLE. But we couldn't connect to WiFi router. App show the message "Check if the SDK version is 2.3 ...

What will DA16200 SDK do if the AP is powered off
If the DA16200 has disconnected from the home AP due to following two main reasons, DA16200 tries to recover connection with AP after an initial try for 30 seconds, and the DA16200 operates as abnormal DPM to recover connection and save power. Examples are listed below: Lost AP beacon due ...

Can DA16200 show good current performance on all APs?
No. Since many AP makers use their own mechanism based on the Wi-Fi Standard, it is hard to guarantee 100% AP compatibility. However, DA16200 can support IoT application to have both better battery lifetime and AP compatibility. Although DA16200 meets the general requirements on most APs, it is possible ...
