Overview
Renesas offers best-in-class automotive sensor signal conditioning (SSC) ICs optimized for harsh environments. They feature low power consumption, crucial for PHEV, BEV, and FCEV vehicles, along with excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and ESD protection. Our SSCs provide digital compensation for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature drift, and nonlinearity across a wide temperature range (–40 °C to +150 °C), meeting the AEC-Q100 standard. To support ISO 26262 functional safety requirements, our SSCs include multiple diagnostic features, making them ideal for safety-critical applications like transmission and braking systems. These versatile SSCs are compatible with various pressure and temperature sensor types and support multiple output interfaces, including analog, SENT, LIN, PWM, and I2C. End-of-line calibration via a one-wire interface (OWI) on the output pin reduces test time and assembly costs by eliminating the need for external trimming.
