Overview

Description

The 5PB1102 is a high-performance 1:2 LVCMOS clock buffer that offers a best-in-class additive phase jitter of 50fs RMS. This clock buffer also supports an Output Enable function. It is available in 8-pin DFN and TSSOP packages and can operate from a 1.8V to 3.3V supply.

Features

  • High-performance 1:2 LVCMOS clock buffer
  • Very low pin-to-pin skew: < 50ps
  • Very low additive jitter: < 50fs
  • Supply voltage: 1.8V to 3.3V
  • fMAX = 200MHz
  • Integrated serial termination for 50Ω channel
  • Packaged in 8-pin TSSOP and small DFN packages
  • Extended (-40 °C to +105 °C) temperature range

  1. 5PB1102 and 5PB1108 fanout clock buffer ESD parameter

Hi  all       Recently, i choosed the 5PB11XX series LVCMOS  clock buffer for fanout use. However, datasheet makes no mention of what kind of ESD input protection the chip has.  I want to inquire about the ESD parameters of this chip.Thanks.

  2. Will the 5PB11xx (5PB1102, 5PB1104, 5PB1106, 5PB1108, 5PB1110) buffers be able to drive a pulse signal?

Will the 5PB11xx (5PB1102, 5PB1104, 5PB1106, 5PB1108, 5PB1110) buffers be able to drive a pulse signal? What would be the minimum pulse width and the pulse repetition frequency that these parts can support?

FAQs

  1. How do we terminate the unused pins for the 5PB11xx family of buffers (5PB1102 / 5PB1104 / 5PB1106 / 5PB1108 / 5PB1110) ?

The unused pins can be left floating on these devices.  For other questions not addressed by the knowledge base, please submit a technical support request.
