Overview

Description

The CN317-ABSIPSPOCZ Absolute Inductive Position Sensor Reference Design is a board that combines two inductive position sensors (IPS2200) and a highly cost-efficient microcontroller (RX24T) to realize the function of a simple rotary encoder. The RX24T is responsible for measuring the differential sine and cosine outputs from the two IPS2200, converting them into an absolute position, and providing the result on the output. It has the advantage of a lighter, thinner, and more flexible design, good performance, and total stray field immunity.

Features

  • Combines two IPS2200 inductive position sensors.
  • Includes a cost-efficient RX24T microcontroller to realize the function of a simple rotary encoder.
  • Flexible design, good performance, cost-effective, lighter, thinner, and total stray field immune.
  • Bidirectional control using a motor driver.
  • Precise error measurement for output data.
  • Accurately showcase key data including position, speed, direction, and resolution.
