Overview
Description
The ZSPM8001-KIT supports evaluation of DC/DC point-of-load (POL) applications. The kit incorporates the ZSPM1005 digital PWM controller IC and the ZSPM9060 DrMOS power output stage to form a "smart" buck converter (a.k.a. step-down DC-to-DC converter). The ZSPM8001-KIT Evaluation Kit hardware functions with the Pink Power Designer™ Graphical User Interface (GUI), which is used for communication and programming of the ZSPM1005. The GUI requires the MATLAB® runtime environment. The GUI software and runtime environment are available for download.
The kit includes the PMBus™ Communication Interface, which provides the interface between the ZSPM8001 Evaluation Kit and the user's computer.
