Overview
Description
The ZSPM2000-KIT01 supports evaluation of DC/DC point-of-load (POL) applications. The kit demonstrates using ZSPM2000 digital PWM controller with integrated MOSFET driver and external MOSFETs to form a "smart" buck converter (a.k.a. a step-down DC-to-DC converter). The ZSPM2000-KIT01 Evaluation Kit hardware functions with the Pink Power Designer™ Graphical User Interface (GUI), which is used for communication and programming of the ZSPM2000. The GUI requires the MATLAB® runtime environment. The GUI software and runtime environment are available for download.
The kit includes the PMBus™ Communication Interface (CI), which provides the interface between the ZSPM2000-EVB01 Evaluation Board and the user's computer.

The PMBus™ Communication Interface (CI) provides the interface between the Evaluation Board and the user's computer for the ZSPM2000 Evaluation Kit and select ZSPM8xxx Evaluation Kits. It is included in the kits and can also be ordered separately.
