Overview
Description
The ZMOD4410-EVK simplifies the evaluation of the ZMOD4410 Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) sensor. This sensor module is supported with the firmware to operate the sensor in multiple modes: IAQ 2nd Gen, Ultra-Low Power mode, and PBAQ1. Depending on the selected mode, the output can be displayed as a raw signal (resistance), a standardized IAQ rating, an absolute TVOC and estimated CO2 concentration, or a relative signal change. To initiate the sensor, simply connect the EVK to a Windows PC via USB and utilize the provided evaluation software.
The ZMOD4410-EVK consists of the following:
- ZMOD4410 and HS4001 Sensor Daughterboard
- Environmental Sensor Communication (ESCom) Board
- USB Cable
- Quick Start Guide
Evaluation kit software (GUI) can be downloaded from the Software Downloads section on this page.
1. PBAQ (Public Building Air Quality) is a term coined by Renesas and indicates a public building air quality standard, such as WELL or RESET.
Features
- Accelerates configuration and evaluation of Renesas environmental sensors
- Supports all operational modes for each sensor, including ultra-low power and AI technology
- Provides sensor-dependent algorithmic outputs, referencing international standards where applicable
- Operates with Renesas-provided software, offering either executable graphical user interface (GUI) or programming examples
- Allows for easy connection of Pmod™ boards for various environmental sensor derivatives and seamless integration with other sensor products via the I2C interface
- Provides background information on air quality sensing and guidance on using sensor firmware
- Additional pins available for measuring power consumption and supply voltage

- ZMOD4410 power consumption measurement
How to measure the power consumption of ZMOD4410 sensor, I read in the ZMOD4410 Evaluation Kit User Manual that K1 is used for power consumption measurement, but I am not sure about the specific steps, whether it is to jump the jumper cap to the jres position, and then use ...
Aug 18, 2022 - Read value from IDT ZMOD4410 gas sensor module
Im writing a small code using Python to read value from IDT ZMOD4410 gas module sensor .I think i will COM to read but I don't know API to communicate with gas sensor . Hardware : PC + USB micro B + ZMOD4410 evaluation kit + ZMOD4410 gas sensor module. Someone know about this ...
Feb 12, 2023 - two zmod4410 in same ESP32S3
I have evaluated zmod4410 with ESP32S3. Now I want to use two these sensors in same ESP for redundancy and comparison. I tried to set two different i2c buses but code is too complex for my skills. What should i do to adapt two zmods physically and in arduino code ...
