KMC is dedicated to researching, developing, and providing advanced tools that fully leverage open‑source software, a global source of innovation. Since 1995, the company has commercialized the GCC compiler, and since 2017 it has offered the “SOLID” integrated development environment, combining the LLVM/Clang compiler with a 32/64‑bit RTOS. In 2021, KMC expanded its lineup by adding the memory‑safe Rust language together with an RTOS and debugger.
KMC also provides solutions that take advantage of Linux’s real‑time responsiveness, fast boot performance, and networking strengths in dual‑OS environments—without requiring a hypervisor.
The JTAG‑ICE PARTNER‑Jet series, known for fast downloads and high responsiveness, has long supported multicore debugging and was among the first in the industry to support Linux debuggers. This enables seamless debugging and analysis from kernel to user space, improving development efficiency. Its high‑capacity, high‑speed, wide‑bandwidth real‑time trace functions are essential for modern multicore SoCs. KMC has supported complex system analysis—particularly those using hypervisors—by offering HSSP‑compatible probes and PCIe trace boards.
KMC also provides “Omnisight,” a time‑series profiling tool that uses large volumes of trace and logging data collected via Ethernet to visualize process and thread behavior, CPU‑core activity, and cache hit rates on the target system.
