We will introduce connection examples when using the E8a emulator as a programmer and combining it with the Flash Development Toolkit.
Refer to both (1) and (2) documents below.
- For the pin settings of E8a, see Chapter 13 "Interface Boards" of Flash Development Toolkit V.4.09 (for Windows XP Windows Vista and Windows 7) User's Manual.
- The pins must be connected and set into Boot Mode. For how to set into Boot mode, see "User's Manual: Hardware" or "Hardware Manual" for individual MCUs.
- Pull-up and pull-down resistance values are provided for reference only. Please perform an evaluation on your system to confirm actual values.
- Although the connection examples have been confirmed on paper, it is the user's responsibility to perform an evaluation on the user system to determine applicability. Renesas assumes no responsibility for determining the applicability of this example on the user system.
