    The E10A-USB emulator unit cannot be used as is because SH7147 and SH7142 MCUs do not embed debugging functions. However, the SH7417 Debug MCU Board (sold separately) can be used with the E10A-USB emulator to enable debugging. For more information, click here.

    Yes, it is necessary to do so. After power-on reset, most of peripheral modules are in module standby state (clock is not supplied to modules). So, you must clear the module standby of peripheral modules to use at first.
