Overview

Description

RX62N Group microcontrollers have 100 MHz high-speed operation and enhanced communications functions. They have built-in Ethernet, CAN, and two circuits of USB 2.0 host controller. A multifunction timer (MTU2, 2 units), 10-bit or 12-bit A/D converter, DMA controller, and other peripheral functions are incorporated on a single chip. Up to 512 KB flash memory and 96 KB RAM are built in, as well as 32 KB of flash memory for data storage. Packages from 85 to 176 pins are available.

FAQs

  1. RTC function (RX62N Series): Importance of a crystal resonator?

In the RX62N Series user's manual: hardware, "has a...32.768-kHz crystal resonator" means that the device has an oscillation circuit that oscillates on a connected crystal oscillator. To perform RTC operation, it is necessary to connect a 32.768-kHz crystal resonator between the XCIN and XCOUT ...

  2. (RX62N, RX621) What is the maximum transfer volume (byte count) of the DMAC?

RX62N: Regardless of DMAC transfer mode, the DMA transfer count register (DMCRA) specifies how many words per byte (words/byte) (number of bits depends on SZ) are transferred during one DMA transfer request. With normal transfer mode the DMCRA register can be set to FFFFh and the maximum transfer ...

  3. (RX62N, RX621, RX610) I can't enter all-module stop mode.

To enter all-module stop more, execute a WAIT instruction after setting the related registers or bits as follows. - MSTPCRA.ACSE bit = 1 (all-module clock stop mode is enabled) - SBYCR.SSBY bit = 0 (shifts to sleep mode or all-module clock stop mode after the WAIT instruction is executed ...
