Overview
Description
BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC) is an addendum to the existing BACnet specification and uses the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol which ensures bug-proof and tamper-proof communications. TLS is also widely used as the foundation for secure internet access (https) in IT. On RA series CPUs with an encryption engine, this is automatically used by the stack* to encrypt communication according to the BACnet/SC standard.
