Overview

Description

These MCUs are ideal for low-cost networking applications. They integrate the IT800 power line modem developed by YITRAN, which provides communication over power lines using the 120 kHz to 400 kHz (FCC, ARIB) or 20 kHz to 80 kHz (CENELEC A) or 95 kHz to 125 kHz (CENELEC B) frequency band and achieves data transfer rates of up to 7.5 kbps. The MCUs can run a software library for the Data Link Layer (layer 2 of the OSI model) for “Protocol agnostic” solution. Maximum operating frequency is 15.36 MHz when using a PLL Synthesizer. A 64-pin package is available.

FAQs

  1. Do I need to rewrite the boot ROM area using MI6C Flash Starter?

Rewriting of the boot ROM area is unnecessary. This is because M3A-0806 performs programming using the standard boot program which was programmed into the boot ROM area when it was shipped. (#104963)
