Overview
Description
The QCIOT-ISL76682POCZ automotive light sensor (ALS) board demonstrates the functionality and performance of the ISL76682 light-to-digital sensor. The ISL76682 is a low-power, high-sensitivity integrated light sensor with an I2C (SMBus-compatible) interface. The generic design of the ALS board enables customers to easily embed the light sensor into their specific applications.
The board provides a standard Pmod™ Type 6A (Extended I2C) connection, allowing the onboard sensor to be connected to any MCU evaluation kit with a compatible interface. It features Pmod connectors on both sides, enabling additional Type 6/6A boards to be daisy-chained so that multiple sensors can share the same MCU Pmod connector. With its standard connector and software support, the QCIOT-ISL76682POCZ ALS board is ideal for rapidly developing IoT systems using the Renesas QuickConnect platform.
