Description
The ISL54217EVAL1Z evaluation board is designed to provide a quick and easy method for evaluating the ISL54217 USB 2.0 High-Speed x 2 channels/stereo audio dual SP3T (dual 3-to-1 multiplexer) switch IC.
The ISL54217 single supply dual SP3T analog switch IC operates from a single supply in the range of 2.7V to 4.6V. These devices were designed to multiplex between audio stereo signals and two different USB 2.0 high-speed differential data signals. The audio channels allow signal swings below ground, allowing the multiplexing of the voice and data signals through a common headphone connector in personal media players and other portable battery-powered devices.
