Several industrial markets (especially retail scales) require a Wi-Fi 5/IEEE 802.11ac solution. This solution shows how easily platforms can be expanded with an M.2 Type E Wi-Fi board with PCIe. In this example, we show a combination of an RZ/G2M SMARC SoM (Scalable HMI SMARC SoM with AI) + a Wi-Fi 5 module on the (High Performance HMI System) universal carrier board.
