For the Synergy MCU configured as a Communications Device Class (CDC) device to be recognized by the Windows® (7/8/10) host PC, the Synergy signed USB CDC driver must be installed on the Windows host PC.
The Synergy signed USB CDC driver supersedes all previous versions of the Synergy USB CDC drivers. The driver package consists of the catalog (.cat) and installation information (.inf) files along with an application note with instructions for installing the Synergy signed USB CDC drivers on the Windows host PC.
The Synergy signed USB driver is created with the following USB Vendor and Product ID:
- Vendor ID: 045B
- Product ID: 5300 (dedicated for Synergy USB CDC class)
- Class Code: Miscellaneous
