Overview
Description
The RL78/I1E microcontroller is an intelligent, flexible analog MCU suitable for countless industrial and medical sensing applications such as flow measurement, strain gauges, pressure or temperature sensing. With enhanced analog features such as configurable op-amps with programmable gain, supporting inverting, non-inverting topologies, or instrumentation amplifiers, the RL78/I1E can be a platform for different types of sensors. The RL78/I1E features a 24-bit delta-sigma A/D, and a separate 10-bit A/D block, with a 12-bit D/A. The package lineup for RL78/I1E MCU goes down to 4 mm x 4 mm or 5 mm x 5 mm reducing PCB footprint. Operating temperature up to 125°C makes it an ideal solution for the harshest of environments.

RL78/I1E CSI interface, can it be used as SPI
Hello, In the RL78/I1E MCU, Can the CSI interface used for interfacing a SPI slave and use SPI protocol. In that case, Is there any document that guides how CSI port can be used for SPI communication. Can you please help me with this query Thanks in advance.

RL78/I1E 24 bit Sigma Delta ADC offset
I'm not sure I properly understand the data sheet for the ADC offset specs - In my application I will have Gset1 & Gset2 both set at 8. From the data sheet it seems the offset adjustment range is ± 164/8 = ± 20mV, with an offset adjustment step size of ...

Tell me the points to be aware of when using the RL78 Code Generator with the WDT.
In the RL78 Code Generator, the Watchdog Timer (WDT) is set to 'Enabled' by default, as shown in the diagram below. To avoid unintended resets by the WDT, please either select 'Disabled' for the 'Watchdog Timer Operation Setting' or add a program to clear the Watchdog Timer counter.
