What happen when I input odd word to external bus width set in H8S?
When accessing odd address in word/long word, address LSB is seen as 0 and the preceding address will be accessed. For example, when attempting to address 2M+1, address 2M will be accessed.

Is little endian/big endian switching function built into H8S family?
No. Little-endian/big-endian switching function is not built into the H8S family. However, the H8SX family has a built-in little-big-endian automatic switching function.
