Overview
Description
The Multiple Motor Control reference design can be used for controlling three or four motors with a single microcontroller (MCU). The RX72T 32-bit MCU used in this design has extensive timer functions and can handle PWM outputs and encoder signal inputs for three motors. With this single MCU, position control of three motors (encoder vector control) and speed control of four motors (sensorless vector control) are made possible. This eliminates the need for a control MCU for each motor, enabling the miniaturization and space-saving of the board.
