This Renesas solution can reduce the influence of noise and parasitic components caused by long distance communication in vehicles that use the new car E/E architecture with centralized ECUs. Remote sensing over longer distances can be achieved by transferring sensing data over CAN or LIN. This remote sensing solution enables long distance transfer by connecting the ECU and the inductive position sensor sensing to the throttle handle, console and gas pedal.
