Overview

Description

The RZ/T2H 9-Axis Motor Control Reference Design enables 9-axis motor control using the RZ/T2H advanced high-end microprocessor (MPU). This design consists of the following three boards.

  • Evaluation board with the RZ/T2H MPU (RTK9RZT2H0S00000BJ)
  • RZ/T2H bus board (RTK0EM0000Z03000BJ)
  • RZ/T MPU series inverter board kits (RTK0EM0000S05010BJ) x 9

These boards are all connected, allowing for the control of 9-axis BLDC motors with a single RZ/T2H.

Features

  • Enables 9-axis motor control
  • Overcurrent detection
  • Sample programs available for RZ/T2H vector control using an encoder for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (9-axis) - Absolute encoder
  • Circuit diagrams and design data for each board are available

Applications

  • Industrial robot (articulated robot, parallel link, SCARA robot)
  • Collaborative robot
  • Automated guided vehicles (AGV) and autonomous mobile robots (AMR)
  • Multi-axis servo
  • Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
  • Motion controller
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
