Overview
Description
The DA9062 is a flexible, scalable system PMIC capable of powering a wide range of multicore SoCs, FPGAs, memory subsystems, and peripherals. Full power tree management and multiple sleep modes result in a power-efficient system solution suitable for infotainment, telematics, and ADAS applications. The device includes four LDOs with programmable output voltages providing up to 300mA and four high-current buck converters providing up to two and a half amps per buck. Any two bucks can be combined in a dual-phase configuration providing up to 5A. All of the bucks use integrated power switches, removing the need for external FETs. Together with the high device switching frequency that allows the use of low-profile inductors, they enable the lowest cost, smallest form factor system solution possible. This solution is also available in Automotive AEC-Q100 Grade 2. High efficiency is achieved over a wide load range by automatically selecting Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) or Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) modes. The input voltage range of 2.8V to 5.5V makes it suitable for standard 5V supply or USB power supplies.
